Overview

Kek Lok Si Temple, located in Penang, Malaysia, is one of Southeast Asia’s largest and most magnificent Buddhist temples. Nestled on the scenic hills of Air Itam, this grand temple complex began its construction in 1890, initiated by Beow Lean, a devout Chinese Buddhist immigrant.

The Pagoda of Rama VI At the heart of Kek Lok Si lies its main attraction: the seven-story Pagoda of Rama VI, also known as the Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas.
