Overview

The Cascade Complex in Yerevan, Armenia, is a breathtaking architectural marvel that serves as both a monumental stairway and an outdoor museum. Conceived in the 1970s during the Soviet era, construction began in 1971 under the visionary guidance of Armenian architect Alexander Tamanyan. His ambitious goal was to connect the central district of Yerevan with the Monument neighborhood, perched on a scenic hill.
